The passage of Proposition 8 in California was a pretty disgraceful show of ignorance. Just when we thought that this election was a sign of the cleansing of much of that ignorance. But, to be fair, the "YES" folks did run a much better campaign than the "NO" folks.

According to some business owners, construction on High Street north of Lane Avenue is both an eyesore and bad for business.

The plan to switch Ohio State from quarters to semesters is "inevitable," said Josh Rackers, Undergraduate Student Government representative on a committee set up to evaluate the change that is expected to take effect by autumn 2012.

We have just completed one of the most historic elections in recent history, if not of all time.

Both Republicans and Democrats had a lot invested, and the American people had nothing short of the fate of their country to consider.

At times, the debate was hopeful, energetic, inspiring and insightful; in the blink of an eye, it was bitter, rigid, spiteful and even hateful.
